The EHS (Setting, Health & Safety) Manager will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring safety policies and procedures across interior fit-out project sites. The role ensures compliance with statutory regulations, client safety standards, and company policies while promoting a strong safety culture across all project locations.
Key Responsibilities:1. Health & Safety Management
Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures for interior fit-out projects.
Ensure compliance with local statutory safety regulations and client EHS requirements.
Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
Identify hazards and implement preventive and corrective measures.
Monitor high-risk activities such as working at heights, hot works, electrical works, and material handling.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain EHS documentation including safety plans, method statements,
risk assessments (HIRA), and incident reports.
Prepare safety reports for management and clients.
Ensure all statutory approvals, permits, and licenses are in place.
Maintain records of safety training, toolbox talks, and safety inductions.
Training & Awareness
Conduct safety induction programs for recent employees and subcontractors.
Organize regular toolbox talks and safety training sessions.
Promote awareness regarding PPE usage and protected working practices.
Drive safety campaigns and initiatives at site.
Incident Management
Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
Prepare root cause analysis (RCA) reports.
Recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure timely reporting to management and client representatives.
Coordination & Monitoring
Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and subcontractors for implementation of safety standards.
