Job Overview

The Prompt Engineer will design, evaluate, and optimize prompt strategies powering GitLab Duo AI agents that automate software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities. This role partners closely with software engineers, DevSecOps specialists, and platform architects to convert development workflows into reliable, reusable AI behaviors that operate consistently within enterprise governance standards.

The ideal candidate understands up-to-date LLM capabilities, prompt engineering techniques, software engineering processes, and evaluation methodologies.
