Overview:

The ETL/Data Testing role involves the validation of data pipelines and processes that extract, transform, and load data.

As a ETL Test Engineer, you must be highly organized and detail-oriented, with solid analytical, problem solving, and prioritization skills. You should also be able to handle multiple tasks in a rapid-paced, deadline-driven environment, both independently and as part of a team.

Job Responsibilities




Perform end-to-end testing of ETL processes and Data Warehouse solutions.
Validate data movement from source systems to target databases/data warehouses.
Develop and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts for ETL workflows.
Perform data validation, data reconciliation, and data quality checks.
Write complex SQL queries for backend data verification and analysis.
Validate transformations, mappings, business rules, and data accuracy.
Work with Azure-based data solutions such as Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Data Lake.
Identify, log, track, and resolve defects in collaboration with development teams.
Participate in requirement analysis, test estimation, and defect triage meetings.
Ensure data integrity, completeness, consistency, and performance of ETL pipelines.

Mandatory Skills
5+ years of ETL Testing experience.
Solid expertise in DWH Testing concepts.
