Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and strategically minded Head Accountant to lead our accounting and finance department. This individual will take full ownership of the companys end-to-end financial operations, including general ledger management, financial planning and analysis (FP&A;), treasury, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting. The Head Accountant will ensure robust internal controls, optimize cash flow, and deliver actionable financial insights to senior leadership to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Strategy
Oversee all core accounting functions: Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Payroll, General Ledger, and Fixed Assets.
Drive annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, variance analysis, and long-term financial planning.
Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L;, Cash Flow) in accordance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS/Ind AS).
Cash Flow & Treasury Operations
Monitor daily cash balances, manage working capital requirements,



and optimize short-term/long-term liquidity.
Maintain relationships with banking partners, handle credit facilities, loans, foreign exchange, and treasury operations.
Taxation, Audit & Compliance
Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws, managing direct and indirect tax filings (e.g., Corporate Tax, GST/VAT, TDS, Sales Tax).
Lead internal and external statutory audits, acting as the primary point of contact for external auditors and regulatory bodies.
Establish, maintain, and enforce internal financial controls and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to mitigate risk.
Team Leadership & Systems
Manage, mentor, and evaluate the accounting team (senior/junior accountants, billing specialists).
Oversee and upgrade financial systems, ERP software (e.g., SAP, Tally, NetSuite, QuickBooks), and automated accounting workflows.
