Job Summary

Role Summary - We are seeking experienced IBM Sterling File Gateway Support Analysts to provide 24x7 operational support for a critical enterprise file transfer environment within a large banking organization. The role is primarily focused on monitoring, incident management, troubleshooting, service restoration, operational validation, and stakeholder coordination. The position is operations-focused and does not include implementing production changes, infrastructure upgrades, configuration modifications, or planned maintenance activities, which are handled by separate engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities Monitor IBM Sterling File Gateway and related Managed File Transfer (MFT) infrastructure. Investigate and resolve file transfer failures, transaction processing issues, routing failures, and service disruptions. Perform transaction replay and operational recovery activities as required.

Conduct production and QA environment health checks at the beginning of each shift. Coordinate with business partners, vendors, clients, and internal operations teams during incidents and service outages. Escalate issues to appropriate support teams and ensure timely resolution.

Document incidents, troubleshooting activities, findings, actions taken, and outcomes. Support operational validation and business verification activities during infrastructure and network maintenance events. Provide shift handover reports and operational status updates.

Perform monthly Red Hat/Linux server OS patching activities. Ensure adherence to operational procedures, SLAs, and compliance requirements.
