Job Title: Senior Accountant / Bookkeeper Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat (Onsite) Work Schedule: 5 Days a Week | Indian Business Hours Employment Type: Full time About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in accounting operations, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and compliance. This role requires hands-on experience with QuickBooks and a solid understanding of accounting best practices.

Experience with US GAAP and tax filing is highly desirable. This position is best suited for accounting professionals who can independently manage day-to-day accounting activities while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities • Manage end-to-end bookkeeping and accounting functions.

- Maintain general ledger, journal entries, and financial records.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports.
- Conduct bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.




- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and external stakeholders.
- Assist with tax preparation, tax filing, and regulatory compliance activities.
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.

- 10+ years of proven accounting and bookkeeping experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks (Mandatory).
- Deep understanding of bookkeeping principles and accounting processes.
- Experience preparing financial reports and reconciliations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications • Knowledge of US GAAP.

- Experience with US tax filing and compliance requirements.
- Experience supporting US-based clients or businesses.
- CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification is an advantage.
