Job Title: Store Incharge - Textile Industry

Location: Kolkata & Falta
Department: Stores & Inventory Management
Experience Required:Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in the Textile Industry (mandatory)

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations of the store, including receipt, storage, and issuance of materials.
Maintain accurate inventory records of raw materials, fabrics, yarns, dyes, chemicals, accessories, and finished goods.
Ensure proper stock levels and coordinate with procurement and production departments for material requirements.
Monitor inward and outward movements of goods and prepare related documentation.
Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
Ensure proper storage practices to prevent damage, wastage, or pilferage of materials.
Maintain records in ERP/software and generate inventory reports as required.
Coordinate with production, purchase, and dispatch teams for smooth material flow.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and housekeeping practices within the store area.




Supervise store staff and allocate duties effectively.

Required Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline; Diploma or certification in Materials Management/Inventory Management is preferred.
2 - 3 years or more of relevant experience in the Textile Industry is mandatory.:
Robust knowledge of têxtile raw materials, fabrics, yarns, dyes, chemicals, and accessories.
Experience in inventory control and warehouse management.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
Valuable communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
