Job Summary

Responsible for sourcing, procurement, vendor management, and timely procurement of electrical, mechanical, and production-related materials to support manufacturing operations while ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Execute procurement activities for raw materials, electrical components, mechanical parts, consumables, and services.
Identify, evaluate, and develop current vendors to ensure a reliable supply base.
Obtain quotations, conduct price negotiations, and finalize purchase orders.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production, planning, and stores teams for material requirements.
Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and purchase documentation.
Support cost reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations.




Resolve supplier-related issues concerning quality, delivery, and commercial terms.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
Coordinate with finance for invoice verification and payment follow-ups.

Educational Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
Additional qualification/certification in Supply Chain Management (SCM), Procurement, or Materials Management will be an added advantage.

Required Skills:
Knowledge of electrical or mechanical components used in manufacturing.
Vendor development and supplier relationship management.
Negotiation and cost optimization skills.
Understanding of ERP systems and MS Excel.
Solid analytical, communication, and coordination abilities.
Knowledge of inventory management and procurement processes.
