Accounts Assistant - Australian Accounting & Finance Location: Delhi, India

Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting activities and financial transactions.
Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) extensively and work on invoices
Prepare, verify and process invoices, bills, receipts and payments.
Perform vendor and ledger reconciliations.
Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up as required.
Perform detailed numerical calculations and financial data analysis.
Identify discrepancies, errors and inconsistencies in accounting data and in invoices.
Prepare frequent MIS reports and financial statements/summaries for stakeholders.
Work extensively on Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, lookups, data analysis and automation.
Develop and improve Excel-based reporting and accounting processes through automation.
Maintain accurate records and ensure timely completion of accounting tasks.
Assist with month-end and year-end accounting activities.
Coordinate with internal teams, clients, vendors and other stakeholders where required.
Ensure accounting practices and documentation are aligned with applicable Australian Accounting Standards and company procedures.
