Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secureLinux based IT infrastructure building blocks.
Drive automation-firstinfrastructure management using scripting and configuration management tools.
Design and implement infrastructure as codeusing configuration management and automation tools.
Work under strict revision control to ensure consistency and traceability in the development and maintenance of standardized Linux building blocks.
Implement security controls, monitoring, and compliance with industry standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related incidents efficiently.
Optimize performance, availability, and capacityof infrastructure components.
Ensure transparent communication regarding personal capabilities and limitations, proactively requesting help when needed.
Contribute to architectural decisions by providing well-informed suggestions.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices.
3.Key Technical Skills
Essential:
Robust Linux expertise(Suse, Ubuntu, Debian, Rocky)
Infrastructure automation & configuration management(Ansible, Terraform, YAML)
Scripting skills(Python, PowerShell, Bash)
Virtualization & Compute:A positive understanding of the compute layer with a focus on VMware virtualization and client-based hardware.
Security:Infrastructure security best practices, vulnerability scanning, CIS-CAT hardening
Monitoring & Logging:Experience with monitoring solutions
Proactive and independent, capable of working with mínimal guidance.
Excellent English:
Automation-first mindset, always looking to optimize and script repetitive tasks.
Excellent communication skills & transparency (willing to share knowledge gaps and seek help when necessary).
