Overall Purpose of The Job
To provide consistent administrative support to Ship Management colleagues in ensuring all managed vessels are scheduled in our Shipsure PositionList and Port Planning modules.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
Safety- Safety is our priority, and the Marine Operations Administrator shall alert the vessel’s fleet cell team of any Bad Weather alerts received in Shipsure, allowing prompt action to be taken to protect crew and customer assets.- Monitor- Monitor the accuracy of vessels position list and intervene where forward planning is absent. An accurate Position List allows all ship management functions to operate efficiently.- Reporting- To be an advocate of ShipSure and ensure it is properly utilised within the Operations Centre, Ship Manager and onboard. This includes guidance to the fleet cell on maintaining schedules for the vessels in Shipsure so that these are accurate and available at all times.
