Job Purpose

The School Principal is responsible for providing academic, administrative, and strategic leadership to the school, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning, student discipline, staff performance, parent satisfaction, and overall school growth.
Key Responsibilities

Academic Leadership
Ensure effective implementation and completion of the curriculum.
Monitor teaching quality, lesson plans, assessments, and student outcomes.
Review academic performance through regular data analysis.
Develop strategies to improve student achievement and retention.
Conduct academic reviews and provide feedback to teachers.
Ensure timely planning of examinations, revisions, and remedial programmes.

Staff Management
Lead, motivate, mentor, and evaluate teaching and non-teaching staff.
Conduct regular staff meetings and performance reviews.
Identify training and qualified-development needs.
Ensure accountability, punctuality, discipline, and effective utilization of staff.

Student Management
Maintain a secure, disciplined,



and positive learning workplace.
Monitor student attendance, academic progress, behaviour, and well-being.
Ensure effective counselling and support systems.
Promote academic, sports, cultural, and co-curricular development.

Administration
Manage day-to-day school operations efficiently.
Ensure compliance with school policies, statutory requirements, and management guidelines.
Monitor infrastructure, facilities, safety, security, and cleanliness.
Ensure proper documentation, reports, records, and communication.
Support effective utilization of school resources and budgets.

Parent & Stakeholder Relations
Build strong relationships with parents and address concerns professionally.
Conduct parent meetings and communicate student progress effectively.
Represent the school professionally before the community and stakeholders.
Strengthen the school's reputation and parent satisfaction.
