Role Description The Senior Academic Advisor is a full-time, in office role based in Gurugram, responsible for guiding learners through their academic and career journeys. Day-to-day tasks include providing individualized academic advising, supporting course selection and program planning, and helping learners understand degree and certification requirements.

Advisor will offer student counseling and career counseling, including goal-setting, career path exploration, and preparation for internships or job opportunities. The role involves monitoring learner progress, identifying academic or personal challenges,



and coordinating interventions or referrals to appropriate support services.

Advisor will also collaborate with faculty and administrative teams to improve advising processes, contribute to orientation and information sessions, and support initiatives that enhance learner engagement and success.

Qualifications

- Strong academic advising and education-related expertise, including Academic Advising and Education skills.
- Student-focused counseling abilities, including Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills.
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with learners, faculty, and staff.
- Experience in higher education or online education settings, preferably in advising or student support roles.
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse learner populations in a gender-neutral, inclusive, and non-discriminatory manner.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple advising cases and deadlines.
- Proficiency with student information systems, CRM tools, and basic office software for documentation and reporting.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field; relevant certifications in academic or career counseling are an advantage.
