Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced Security Champion with a security-first mindset to lead security initiatives across Product, Engineering, DevOps, Platform, and IT teams. The role acts as a bridge between company leadership and delivery teams, focusing on integrating security into day-to-day engineering activities, reducing vulnerabilities early in the SDLC, and improving the organization’s overall security culture.

Must have -

- Minimum 5 years of overall experience in the security domain.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience working with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or hybrid cloud.
- 4+ years of experience supporting the security of business applications and cloud workloads across public, private, or hybrid cloud infrastructures.
- Experience with agent-based deployment, including installation and implementation.
- Strong understanding of IAM, network security, VPCs, security groups, and container security, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience supporting security solutions such as Adaptive Shield, Wiz, or Prisma Cloud Compute is an added advantage.
- Experience with common security tools and technologies, including SIEM, vulnerability management, firewalls, and security groups.
- Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, or CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional).

Valuable to have -

- Experience working with compliance products.
- Experience in SaaS-based product companies.
- Team management experience or experience coordinating with larger teams.
- Certifications or training such as:




- OWASP Foundation training / certifications
- ISC2 – CISSP / CC
- ISACA – CISM / CRISC
- EC-Council – CEH
- AWS Certified Security – Specialty
- Microsoft Azure Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities -

- Identify and prioritize security risks.
- Promote security testing awareness, including SAST, DAST, and dependency scanning.
- Monitoring & Incident Response: Manage security monitoring tools such as SIEM and GuardDuty, analyze logs, and respond to security incidents.
- Help align engineering practices with organizational security policies.
- Support compliance initiatives such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, etc.
- Vulnerability Management: Perform regular penetration testing and vulnerability scans to help mitigate security risks.
- Provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate training and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.
- Monitor and assess security incidents, ensuring timely response and resolution.

Other Requirements -

- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in technology or engineering.
