? Pearls by Mangatrai is looking for an experienced SEO Specialist / SEO Growth Specialist to take ownership of our organic growth and help us build a stronger presence across Google Search, Google Business Profile and emerging AI-powered search experiences.

If you’re someone who doesn’t just “do SEO” but can actually identify opportunities, execute strategies and improve rankings, traffic and organic revenue, we’d love to hear from you.

? What You’ll Be Responsible For

Website & E-commerce SEO

- Develop and execute the overall SEO strategy for Pearls by Mangatrai
- Conduct keyword research based on search intent, product demand and commercial opportunities
- Optimize product pages, collection/category pages, landing pages and blog content
- Improve title tags, meta descriptions, H1/H2s, URLs, image SEO, internal linking and content structure
- Build SEO-focused content strategies around pearls, pearl jewellery, gifting, occasions and customer search queries
- Identify opportunities to improve organic traffic, rankings and conversions

⚙️ Technical SEO
- Conduct regular technical SEO audits and identify crawl, indexation and website structure issues
- Monitor Google Search Console and resolve indexing, coverage and performance issues
- Work on XML sitemaps, robots.txt, canonicalization, redirects and duplicate content
- Improve Core Web Vitals, page speed and mobile SEO
- Identify technical issues on Shopify and coordinate with the development/e-commerce team for implementation
- Implement and optimize structured data / Schema Markup where relevant

? Local SEO & Google Business Profile
- Manage and optimize Google Business Profile(s)




- Improve visibility for local and “near me” searches
- Optimize business information, categories, services/products, photos and local content
- Develop strategies to improve local rankings and Google Maps visibility
- Monitor and improve reviews, citations and local authority
- Maintain consistency of NAP and local business information across relevant platforms

? Off-Page SEO & Authority Building
- Develop ethical, high-quality link-building strategies
- Build relevant backlinks through digital PR, outreach, partnerships, guest content and relevant industry platforms
- Conduct competitor backlink analysis and identify link opportunities
- Monitor backlink quality and overall domain authority

? Analytics & Reporting
- Track organic traffic, rankings, clicks, impressions, CTR and conversions
- Use Google Search Console, GA4 and SEO tools such as Semrush/Ahrefs to identify opportunities
- Create monthly SEO performance reports with clear insights and action plans
- Track keyword growth and performance of priority product/category pages
- Connect SEO activity with actual e-commerce performance and revenue wherever possible

? Modern SEO / AI Search
- Stay updated with Google algorithm changes and evolving search behaviour
- Understand how AI Overviews,



AI search and other generative search experiences are changing discovery
- Explore AEO/GEO and AI-search visibility opportunities while keeping the strategy grounded in strong SEO fundamentals
- Develop content that demonstrates real expertise, useful information and strong topical relevance

? What We’re Looking For

Must Have

- Minimum 2 years of hands-on SEO experience
- Proven experience improving organic rankings and traffic
- Strong understanding of On-page, Technical and Off-page SEO
- Hands-on experience with Google Search Console & Google Analytics/GA4
- Experience with Semrush / Ahrefs / Screaming Frog or similar SEO tools
- Good understanding of keyword research and search intent
- Strong knowledge of technical SEO fundamentals
- Experience with Google Business Profile / Local SEO
- Understanding of Shopify or another e-commerce CMS is a solid advantage
- Good understanding of SEO reporting and data analysis
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills

⭐ Good to Have
- Previous experience with e-commerce / D2C / jewellery / fashion brands
- Shopify SEO experience
- Experience with Schema / JSON-LD
- Understanding of Core Web Vitals and PageSpeed optimization
- Experience with content strategy and SEO copywriting
- Knowledge of digital PR and quality link building
- Understanding of AI search / AEO / GEO
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
