Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with 6+ years of experience in software testing and automation. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, REST Assured, and Postman, along with strong working knowledge of SAP HR/HCM systems.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks, executing functional and API testing, and ensuring high-quality software releases.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, and Cypress.
- Develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks using industry-standard practices.
- Perform UI, functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Automate REST APIs using REST Assured and validate API responses, status codes, headers, and data.
- Create and execute API test collections using Postman.
- Perform API integration and backend validation as part of end-to-end testing.
- Work extensively with SAP HR/HCM modules and validate HR-related business processes and workflows.
- Understand SAP HR business flows and perform functional and integration testing.
- Identify, document, track, and manage defects using appropriate defect management tools.
- Analyze test failures, perform root-cause analysis, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, test case design, execution, and reporting.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing.
- Maintain test scripts and automation frameworks to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, SAP teams, and other QA engineers.
- Provide clear test execution reports and communicate testing status, risks, and defects to stakeholders.

Required Skills




- 6+ years of experience in Software QA/Testing, with strong automation experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
- Strong experience with Playwright for web application automation.
- Good hands-on experience with Cypress.
- Strong API testing experience using REST Assured.
- Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing and validation.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP HR/HCM applications and processes.
- Experience in functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, JSON, XML, status codes, and authentication mechanisms.
- Experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Good knowledge of SQL/database validation.
- Experience working with Git/version control.
- Understanding of CI/CD and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Robust analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have
- Experience integrating automation suites with Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools.
- Experience with cloud/browser automation platforms.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools.
- Experience working with enterprise-level SAP integrations.
- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira.
- Experience with Java/JavaScript/TypeScript or another programming language used for automation.

Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile A successful candidate should be a strong QA Automation professional with extensive experience in Selenium/Playwright, API automation using REST Assured, Postman, Cypress, and SAP HR/HCM testing, capable of owning automation activities from test design through execution and reporting.
