Role Description The Scientist Formulation Development role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mysore. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing formulations for food products, personal care, home care and air care products aligned with performance, safety, and regulatory standards-FSSAI-D&C.; The scientist will plan and execute laboratory experiments, conduct stability and compatibility studies, and document all findings in a clear, structured manner.

Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with R&D;, manufacturing, quality,



and procurement teams to scale formulations from lab to production, supporting validation and technology transfer, and troubleshooting formulation or process-related issues. The role also includes analyzing experimental data, maintaining laboratory records, ensuring compliance with GMP, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in product quality and sustainability.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Laboratory Skills, including handling lab equipment, preparing samples, and following standardized test methods.
- Candidates should possess Research and Development (R&D;) and Research skills, including experimental design, literature review, and formulation optimization.
- Candidates should possess Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) knowledge, including familiarity with regulatory guidelines, documentation standards, and quality systems.
- Candidates should possess Data Analysis skills, including interpreting experimental data, drawing conclusions, using relevant software tools, and preparing technical reports.
- Relevant qualifications such as a master’s or bachelor’s degree in Food Science, chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related fields.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams, strong problem-solving and organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Comfort with in office laboratory work, adherence to safety protocols, and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, innovation-focused environment.
