Key Responsibilities
Develop and match shades as per customer and production requirements.
Handle shade matching for Screen Printing Inks and Pad Printing Inks.
Develop and modify formulations for solvent-based printing inks.
Conduct laboratory trials, colour matching trials, and production-scale trials.
Perform shade correction and maintain batch-to-batch colour consistency.
Work with pigments, resins, solvents, and additives for ink formulation.
Conduct printing trials and evaluate ink performance.
Test viscosity, gloss, adhesion, drying time, colour strength, and printability.
Use Spectrophotometer / Colour Matching System for shade evaluation.
Troubleshoot shade, formulation, and printing-related issues.
Coordinate with R&D;, Production, and QC teams.
Maintain formulation, shade standards, trial, and testing records.
Follow all safety procedures while handling solvents and chemicals.
