Key Responsibilities
Prepare MEP design calculations, load estimates, and system layouts for US commercial/residential/industrial projects
Develop drawings and models in AutoCAD MEP / Revit MEP:
Ensure designs comply with applicable US codes and standards (see below)
Coordinate with US-based project managers, architects, and structural/civil teams
Prepare specifications, equipment schedules, and bill of quantities
Support permit submissions and respond to plan check/RFI comments from US jurisdictions
Participate in client calls during overlapping US time zones (as required)

Required Skills & Experience

Codes & Standards (must have working knowledge of one or more):
ASHRAE 90.1 / 62.1 / 55
NEC (National Electrical Code) 2020/2023
IBC (International Building Code)
IMC/IPC (International Mechanical/Plumbing Code)
NFPA 13 / 70 / 101 (Fire Protection & Life Safety)
UL Listings & Standards

Software:
Revit MEP (required)
AutoCAD MEP
Trane Trace 700/3D or Carrier HAP (for HVAC roles)
ETAP or SKM (for Electrical roles, if applicable)




Navisworks (for coordination, preferred)

Other:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field
Prior experience specifically on US-based projects (not just domestic Indian codes)
Strong written/verbal English communication for direct US client interaction
Willingness to work overlapping hours with US time zones (EST/CST/PST) as needed

Preferred (Nice to Have)
LEED accreditation or sustainability design experience
PE license (US) or working toward it
Experience with US-based AEC firms or outsourcing companies serving US clients
