Key Responsibilities
Plan and conduct engaging and age-appropriate drama classes.
Teach acting, role-play, improvisation, storytelling, voice modulation, movement, and stage performance.
Prepare students for school plays, assemblies, cultural programmes, and competitions.
Help students develop confidence, creativity, teamwork, and communication skills.
Guide students in character development, dialogues, rehearsals, and performances.
Create a secure, positive, and encouraging classroom setting.
Coordinate with teachers and staff for school events and activities.
Support students with costumes, props, scripts, and basic stage preparations.
Monitor student participation and provide constructive feedback.
Participate actively in school events and extracurricular activities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Drama, Theatre, Performing Arts, Education, or a related field.
Excellent spoken and written English.
Robust communication and presentation skills.
Passion for drama, theatre, and working with children.
Creativity, patience, confidence, and a positive attitude.
Ability to engage children through interactive and creative activities.
Previous experience in teaching drama, theatre, performing arts, or working with children is preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and school staff.
