Job Summary

A Physics Teacher is responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging physics lessons that promote students' understanding of scientific concepts and principles. The teacher fosters critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and scientific inquiry while maintaining a positive and effective learning workplace.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver physics lessons in accordance with the curriculum.
Teach fundamental and advanced physics concepts, including mechanics, electricity, magnetism, optics, thermodynamics, and modern physics.
Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, laboratory activities, and assessments.
Conduct practical experiments and ensure laboratory safety procedures are followed.
Evaluate and monitor student progress through tests, assignments, projects, and examinations.
Provide constructive feedback and academic support to students.




Encourage students to participate in science fairs, competitions, and research activities.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance.
Integrate technology and cutting-edge teaching methods into classroom instruction.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school administration to support student development.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development programs, and school events.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physics or a related field.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent teaching qualification (as required).
Solid knowledge of physics concepts and laboratory practices.
Previous teaching experience is preferred.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
