About the Role
The Electrician Trainer will be responsible for imparting theoretical and practical knowledge in electrical systems and preparing trainees for employment in the electrical industry.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver classroom and practical training in Electrical Trade.
Train learners on electrical wiring, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety practices.
Conduct practical demonstrations and hands-on sessions.
Develop lesson plans, practical exercises, and assessment methods.
Ensure availability and proper utilization of tools, equipment, and training materials.
Maintain workshop discipline and safety standards.
Assess trainee performance and provide feedback.
Maintain trainee attendance, progress reports, and MIS records.
Coordinate with industry partners for guest lectures, exposure visits, and placements.
Qualifications
ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering / B.Tech Electrical Engineering.
Relevant certifications will be an added advantage.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in the electrical field and/or training.
Experience in vocational training institutes or skill development programs preferred.
Desired Skills
Robust practical knowledge of electrical systems and equipment.
Knowledge of electrical safety standards and industry practices.
Good communication and training skills.
Ability to conduct hands-on training effectively.
Basic computer and documentation skills.
