Job Title: Confectionery Chef

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
Prepare a wide range of confectionery products including chocolates, truffles, pralines, toffees, caramels, pastries, cakes, cookies, desserts, and other sweet products.
Follow standardized recipes, production methods, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
Ensure consistency in taste, texture, appearance, quality, and portioning.
Create and decorate cakes, pastries, chocolates, and desserts according to company standards and customer requirements.
Develop current confectionery products, recipes, flavors, and seasonal offerings.
Maintain daily production schedules and ensure products are prepared on time.
Monitor the quality and freshness of raw materials and finished products.
Maintain proper storage, labeling, temperature control, and FIFO practices.
Manage ingredients and inventory efficiently and minimize wastage.
Operate confectionery, baking, refrigeration,



and other kitchen equipment safely.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, food safety, and workplace sanitation.
Coordinate with the kitchen, purchasing, service, and management teams for smooth operations.
Assist in special orders, events, celebrations, product launches, and customized dessert requirements.
Train and guide junior pastry/confectionery team members where required.
Monitor equipment condition and report maintenance or safety issues promptly.
Contribute ideas for improving product quality, efficiency, presentation, and profitability.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma or certificate in Bakery, Pastry Arts, Confectionery, or Culinary Arts preferred.
Relevant skilled experience in a bakery, hotel, restaurant, café, or confectionery production workplace.
Solid knowledge of chocolate work, confectionery techniques, baking, pastry production, and d
