We are looking for an experienced SAP Vertex Integration Consultant with 8 to 20 years of overall SAP experience and at least 4 years of hands-on experience in Vertex tax solution integration with SAP.

The consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, integrating, and supporting Vertex tax solutions with SAP ECC/S/4HANA, working closely with SAP Finance, Tax, Technical, and business teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement SAPVertex integration for tax determination and calculation.
- Configure and support Vertex O Series / Vertex Cloud integration with SAP.
- Work on integration with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Configure tax determination, tax codes, jurisdictions, and related tax scenarios.
- Integrate Vertex with SAP FI/SD/MM business processes.
- Support sales, purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing tax scenarios.
- Analyze and resolve issues related to tax calculation, tax determination, and Vertex interfaces.
- Work with technical teams on interfaces, APIs, middleware, and integration flows.
- Participate in integration testing, SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and production support.
- Coordinate with Vertex, SAP, functional, technical, and business stakeholders.
- Prepare functional specifications, integration documentation, and configuration documents.
- Support upgrades,



enhancements, deployments, and troubleshooting activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable indirect tax requirements and business processes.

Mandatory Skills:

- 8 to 20 years of overall SAP experience.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in SAP Vertex Integration.
- Strong hands-on experience with Vertex O Series / Vertex Cloud.
- Experience integrating Vertex with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA.
- Strong understanding of SAP FI, SD, and MM tax processes.
- Experience with tax determination and tax calculation.
- Good understanding of SAPVertex interfaces and integration architecture.
- Experience in troubleshooting integration and tax calculation issues.
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end tax integration processes.

Valuable to Have:

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- Experience with SAP BRIM / Billing integration.
- Knowledge of SAP DRC / e-Invoicing.
- Experience with CPI/PI/PO or other middleware.
- Exposure to Vertex APIs and cloud integrations.
- Experience in global tax implementations.
- Strong stakeholder and client-management skills.
