SAP S/4HANA Functional Analyst for Fixed Assets

Key Areas of Expertise

- SAP S/4HANA Fixed Assets Accounting (FI-AA)
- Project Systems (PS) – general knowledge, but we use Apptio and Anaplan
- Capital project accounting and capitalization processes
- Asset lifecycle management and depreciation
- Project budgeting, cost tracking, settlements, and WBS structures
- Financial reporting and accounting controls
- Cross-functional integrations with Finance, HR, Procurement, and other enterprise systems

What They Will Do
- Partner with Accounting and Finance teams to gather and document business requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and system solutions.
- Support enhancements, projects, and production support activities related to Fixed Assets and Project Systems.
- Participate in solution design, testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities.
- Validate end-to-end business processes including asset acquisitions, asset under construction (AuC), depreciation, project cost management, settlements, and capitalization.
- Collaborate with SAP technical teams, integration teams, and external implementation partners to deliver business capabilities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and standardization across finance processes.




- Support month-end and year-end activities and assist with audit and compliance requirements.

Ideal Candidate A strong candidate will have deep functional knowledge of SAP Fixed Assets and Project Systems, a solid understanding of accounting principles, experience supporting large-scale ERP initiatives, and the ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical stakeholders.
