SAP PP/QM/PM Functional Consultant – Ahmedabad? Syncabout Business Solutions is Hiring!

We are looking for an experienced SAP PP/QM/PM Functional Lead to join our growing SAP consulting team.

✨ Key ResponsibilitiesSAP PP – Production Planning

- Strong understanding of Discrete Manufacturing and end-to-end PP processes.
- Good knowledge of PP Cycle, Production Order Creation, Scheduling, MRP, BOM, Routing, Work Centers, Production Versions, Goods Issue, Goods Receipt, Confirmation, WIP and Production Variance.
- Troubleshoot MRP exceptions, capacity issues, scheduling and production order errors.
- Support production order closing, WIP settlement and variance analysis during period-end closing.

SAP QM – Quality Management

- Handle Inspection Lots, Inspection Types, Inspection Plans, MICs, Sampling Procedures and Usage Decisions.
- Resolve issues related to Result Recording, Quality Notifications and Batch Management.
- Support QM integration with PP, MM and Vendor Evaluation.

SAP PM – Plant Maintenance

- Strong understanding of Equipment and Functional Locations.
- Experience with Maintenance Notifications, Maintenance Orders and Preventive Maintenance.
- Knowledge of Maintenance Plans, Scheduling, Task Lists, Breakdown and Corrective Maintenance.
- Experience with Maintenance Order Confirmation, TECO and Settlement.
- Support integration of PM with MM, FI/CO and PP.
- Troubleshoot issues related to maintenance orders, spare parts, reservations and confirmations.

Configuration & Change Requests

- Perform PP/QM/PM configuration and support CRs.
- Support MRP, Scheduling, Production Order Types, QM Inspection Types, Sampling Procedures, Usage Decisions and PM configuration.




- Implement changes related to Production Orders, Routing, Inspection Plans, MRP and Maintenance processes.

Enhancement & Development Support

- Work with ABAP consultants on custom PP/QM/PM reports, forms, enhancements and user exits.
- Support Smart Forms / Adobe Forms for Production Orders, Quality Inspections and Maintenance Orders.
- Debug and resolve functional defects in existing enhancements.

Integration

- Maintain integration with MM, FI/CO and SD.
- Support material staging, goods movements, production costing, settlement, maintenance order costing and MTO scenarios.
- Support QM integration with batch management and vendor evaluation.

Master Data, Training & Documentation

- Support master data for BOM, Routing, Work Centers, Production Versions, Inspection Plans, MICs, Recipes, Equipment, Functional Locations, Maintenance Plans and Task Lists.
- Conduct training for production planners, shop-floor users, QC teams and maintenance teams.
- Prepare SOPs, process documentation and user guides.

? Mandatory Requirements
- 3–4 years of relevant SAP Functional experience.
- Robust hands-on experience in SAP PP/QM with good understanding of SAP PM.
- Strong knowledge of Discrete Manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end PP, QM and PM processes.
- Minimum 1 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation project is mandatory.
- SAP S/4HANA implementation experience required.
- ECC to S/4HANA migration experience will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and client-handling skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with technical and cross-functional teams.
