SAP IS-Auto / Proaxia VSS Functional Consultant with solid techno-functional capabilities to support and enhance our Automotive Aftersales landscape. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in SAP IS-Auto DBM, Proaxia VSS, SAP S/4HANA Automotive solutions , and automotive dealership operations.

The consultant will play a key role in solution design, implementation, enhancement, integration, and support of end-to-end Automotive Aftersales processes including Service Appointment Management, Workshop Operations, Parts Management, Warranty Processing, Vehicle Service Management, and Digital Customer Experience initiatives.

This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, OEM partners, project teams, developers, and integration teams to deliver scalable and innovative automotive solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Configuration

- Design, configure, and optimize SAP IS-Auto / DBM and Proaxia VSS solutions for Automotive Aftersales operations.
- Lead business process workshops, fit-gap analysis, and solution blueprint activities.
- Configure and support:
- Service Orders
- Workshop Management
- Service Appointments
- Vehicle Reception
- Parts & Inventory Management
- Warranty & Goodwill Processing
- Recall Campaign Management
- Labor Operations & Pricing
- Vehicle Health Check (eVHC)
- Customer Quotations & Approvals
- Ensure adherence to SAP and Automotive industry best practices.

Business Process Analysis

- Analyze existing automotive dealership processes and identify automation and optimization opportunities.
- Translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, customer experience, and operational performance.

Requirements Gathering & Documentation

- Engage with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed requirements.
- Prepare:
- Functional Specifications
- Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
- Functional Design Documents (FDD)




- Process Flow Diagrams
- Test Scripts
- Training Materials
- Work closely with development teams to ensure successful solution delivery.

SAP Project Delivery

- Participate in full lifecycle SAP projects including:
- Requirement Gathering
- Blueprinting
- Design
- Configuration
- Development Support
- SIT/UAT Testing
- Data Migration
- Cutover Planning
- Go-Live
- Hypercare Support
- Support SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives and Proaxia VSS implementations.

Technical & Integration Support

- Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting of production issues.
- Debug SAP programs and collaborate with ABAP developers to resolve complex issues.
- Support integrations involving:
- OEM Systems
- CRM Platforms
- Payment Gateways
- Digital Applications
- Azure Integration Services
- Middleware Platforms (Boomi, CPI, PI/PO)

Testing & Quality Assurance

- Develop test scenarios and execute:
- Unit Testing
- System Integration Testing (SIT)
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Validate business requirements and ensure solution quality.

User Training & Knowledge Transfer

- Deliver end-user and super-user training.
- Create knowledge articles, SOPs, and process documentation.
- Provide continuous support to business users and support teams.

Production Support & Continuous Improvement

- Provide L2/L3 support for Automotive Aftersales applications.
- Analyze incidents and identify recurring issues.
- Lead enhancement initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
- Ensure compliance with SLA and service delivery standards.

Required Skills & Experience

Functional Expertise

- Minimum 5+ years of SAP Automotive experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- SAP IS-Auto




- SAP Dealer Business Management (DBM)
- Proaxia VSS
- Experience in Automotive Aftersales business processes:
- Workshop Operations
- Service Management
- Parts Management
- Warranty Processing
- Service Appointment Scheduling

Techno-Functional Skills

- Strong debugging capabilities.
- Ability to analyze ABAP code and collaborate effectively with developers.
- Knowledge of:

SAP Cross Functional Knowledge

Experience in integration with

- SAP S/4HANA

Project Experience

- Minimum 2-3 end-to-end SAP implementations, rollouts, or upgrade projects.
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
- Strong knowledge of SAP Activate methodology.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Proaxia VSS and SRS (Service Resource Scheduling).
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA Automotive transformations.
- Knowledge of:
- Vehicle Health Check Solutions (eVHC)
- Workshop Monitoring
- Service Advisor Mobility Solutions
- Customer Portal Solutions
- Digital Payment Integrations
- OEM Warranty & Recall Integrations
- SAP Certification in relevant modules preferred.
- Experience in Automotive Retail Dealership environments is highly desirable.

Educational Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
- SAP Certification(s) preferred.
