Provides expert consulting and support for SAP FICO across HPE businesses, functions, and geographies, driving alignment between business needs and IT capabilities. Acts as a strategic partner to business stakeholders, ensuring SAP FICO solutions are effectively designed, implemented, and maintained to meet enterprise financial and controlling requirements. Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging deep SAP knowledge to optimize processes, ensure data integrity, and support digital transformation initiatives.

What you’ll do:

Responsibilities:

- Global SAP FICO & Architecture Leadership
- Core Delivery Leadership: Leads from a FICO perspective, including local legal compliance requirement implementation, rollout, upgrade, migration, and continuous improvement projects across multiple business units and geographies.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborates with business stakeholders to gather and document business requirements and align them with SAP FICO capabilities.
- SAP FICO Configuration: Configures SAP FICO modules—including GL, AP, AR,



Tax, AA, CCA, PCA, Internal Orders, COPA, CO-PC, and Banking—to meet complex corporate and localized business needs.
- Change Management: Communicates new functionalities, system changes, and relevant processes to business partners clearly and effectively.
- Cross-Module Integration: Engages in SAP integration with other modules like MM, SD, PS, and HCM, ensuring smooth end-to-end process flows.
- RICEFW Governance: Partners with ABAP development teams to design Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and oversees complex RICEFW developments.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Conducts and supports end-to-end testing activities, including unit testing, regression testing, and UAT in coordination with business users.
- Documentation & Training: Creates comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, training materials, and knowledge articles.
- Continuous Optimization: Identifies and implements continuous improvement opportunities to optimize SAP FICO processes and solutions.
- Service Excellence: Ensures customer satisfaction through proactive communication, timely issue resolution, and high-quality deliverables.
- Advanced Procurement, Central Ledger & Compliance Integration
- SAP Ariba P2P Integration: Architect and govern the end-to-end financial integration between cloud-based procurement (SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing, Ariba Network) and the core ERP backend via Managed Gateway (CIG) to drive automated Invoice Reconciliation (IR) and touchless Accounts Payable (FI-AP) processing.
- Central Finance (CFIN) Strategy: Lead the architecture and implementation of SAP Central Finance (CFIN), managing real-time data replication from localized source systems into a unified central ledger while resolving complex mapping conflicts through the Application Interface Framework (AIF).
- Global Tax Automation & SAF-T: Standardize global indirect/direct tax engine integrations and design systemic, automated workflows to generate localized compliance frameworks, specifically Standard Audit File for Tax Purposes (SAF-T) and digital E-Invoicing mandates across varied jurisdictions.
- Automated Revenue Accounting (RAR): Oversee the integration of operational sales/contract data with SAP RAR to automate multi-element performance obligations, contract liabilities, and compliance with IFRS 15 / ASC 606 revenue recognition guidelines.
- FSCM Working Capital Optimization: Implement and optimize SAP Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM) sub-modules—including Credit, Dispute, Collections, and Cash Management—to streamline credit risk policies and accelerate cash flows through data-driven automation.
- Internal Audit & Control Safeguards: Partner directly with the Internal Audit team to embed structural financial controls, audit trails, and segregation of duties (SoD) logic across integrated Ariba, CFIN, and core accounting pipelines.
- Education and Experience Required
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, IT, Accounting, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience); Master’s degree preferred. [1]
- FICO Experience: 12–15+ years of experience in SAP FICO consulting, including full-cycle global implementations and post-go-live support.
- Module Expertise: Deep functional expertise in core SAP FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting, CCA, PCA, IO, COPA, CO-PC).
- Cross-Module Competency: Strong knowledge of standard cross-module integration points with MM, SD, PS, and HCM.
- Technical Engineering: Skilled in writing detailed Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and collaborating on complex RICEFW objects with ABAP developers.
- Data & Cutover: Proven experience in SAP data migration, cutover planning, and reconciliation.
- Leadership & Training: Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional FICO efforts and training business users in global SAP FICO processes.
- Advanced Module Competency:




- Proven hands-on implementation or architectural experience with SAP Central Finance (CFIN) and SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR).
- Robust practical deployment experience with SAP Ariba (upstream/downstream financial mapping) and SAP FSCM suite.

- Compliance & Tax Delivery: Extensive experience in developing enterprise solutions for Global Tax automation, Standard Audit File for Tax Purposes (SAF-T), E-Invoicing, and DMEE requirements.
- Audit Familiarity: Deep understanding of financial risk frameworks, SOX requirements, and designing business processes optimized for rigorous Internal Audit scrutinies.
- Domain Depth: Strong underlying finance and accounting domain knowledge.
- Soft Skills: Outstanding communication, persuasion, and stakeholder management skills across c-suite business executives and technical IT teams.
- Environment: Proven capability to operate effectively in a highly complex, global enterprise environment and lead across multiple major initiatives simultaneously.
