IT Executive SAP Business One (Techno-Functional)

Position Summary

We are looking for an IT Executive with SAP Business One techno-functional expertise to provide day-to-day SAP B1 support, participate in implementation and testing activities, and contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives.

The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of business processes and the ability to translate user requirements into practical SAP Business One solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide day-to-day SAP Business One support to end users.
- Understand, troubleshoot, and resolve functional issues in coordination with the SAP implementation/support partner.
- Participate in SAP B1 implementation, UAT, testing, Go-Live, and post-Go-Live support activities.
- Support and understand SAP B1 modules including:

- Purchase

- Sales

- Inventory

- Production

- Service

- Finance/Accounts
- Gather and analyze business requirements from various departments.
- Map business processes and recommend appropriate SAP B1 solutions.
- Configure and support UDFs, approvals, workflows, authorizations, and reports.
- Prepare and support SAP B1 queries and MIS reports.
- Use basic SQL and SAP HANA/MS SQL knowledge for troubleshooting, reporting, and data analysis.
- Coordinate with functional users, internal IT teams, and external SAP partners.
- Conduct user training and provide functional guidance to employees.
- Prepare and maintain SOPs, process documents, user manuals, and system documentation.
- Participate in master-data validation, data migration, testing, and system enhancement activities.
- Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and system optimization.
- Monitor recurring system issues and coordinate corrective actions.




- Ensure proper documentation of incidents, changes, configurations, and enhancements.
- Support other IT-related activities as required by the organization.

Required Skills
- Strong working knowledge of SAP Business One.
- Good understanding of SAP B1 business processes and modules.
- Basic knowledge of SQL queries and SAP HANA/MS SQL.
- Experience with UDFs, approvals, workflows, reports, and authorizations.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into system solutions.
- Good communication and user-training skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with SAP implementation partners and internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Crystal Reports will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of SAP B1 integration/API and automation tools will be an added advantage.

Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- SAP Business One certification will be an added advantage.

Experience
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in SAP Business One support, implementation, or techno-functional roles.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in SAP B1 implementation, UAT, Go-Live, and post-Go-Live support will be preferred.
