We are hiring an SAP Basis Administrator with working knowledge of networking and infrastructure to support system landscape management across active client engagements. This role is central to keeping SAP environments stable, secure, and performant during migration and steady-state operations.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and administer SAP application servers across ECC and S/4HANA landscapes

Perform system refreshes, client copies, kernel upgrades, and support packs

Manage transport requests and change management via STMS

Monitor system performance (CPU, memory, background jobs, work processes) and resolve bottlenecks

Coordinate with network teams on connectivity, firewall rules, VPN tunnels, and load balancer configuration affecting SAP application and database servers

Troubleshoot RFC connections, gateway issues, and network-layer failures impacting system-to-system communication





Support user administration, role/authorization coordination, and basic security hardening in line with client compliance requirements

Maintain system documentation (landscape diagrams, connectivity maps, patching logs)

Participate in disaster recovery and system backup/restore procedures

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field

Minimum 1.5 years of hands-on SAP Basis administration experience

Working knowledge of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, VPN, load balancing, and their application to SAP landscape connectivity

Experience with SAP installation, patching, STMS, and system monitoring tools

Familiarity with SAP NetWeaver architecture and Basis administration tools (SAP GUI, SolMan basics)

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

Exposure to SAP HANA database administration

Familiarity with SAP BTP or cloud-connected landscape components

Prior experience supporting S/4HANA migration cutover and hypercare phases
