Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with strong ABAP programming and technical development skills. The candidate should have experience working with SAP modules such as FI/CO, SD, MM, and PP. Familiarity with SAP Ariba is an added advantage.

Must-Have Skills

- Strong ABAP programming skills with a good understanding of ABAP syntax, coding standards, and best practices.
- Familiarity with SAP modules such as FI/CO, SD, MM, and PP.
- Familiarity with SAP Ariba is an added advantage.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Experience in ABAP development, unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills for working with functional teams and stakeholders.
- For senior-level responsibilities, experience providing technical guidance and supporting development teams.

Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience developing interfaces to integrate SAP with other systems.
- Experience with SAP application and code performance optimization.
- Exposure to cloud-based SAP solutions and technologies.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Experience working with APIs.




- Good understanding of SAP MM processes.

Key ResponsibilitiesABAP Development
- Create and modify ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, and data conversion solutions within SAP.
- Develop technical solutions based on business and functional requirements.

Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with functional consultants and business analysts to understand requirements.
- Translate functional requirements into explicit technical specifications.

Code Optimization
- Review and optimize existing ABAP code to improve application performance and efficiency.
- Follow established development standards and best practices.

System Support
- Provide technical support for SAP applications.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.

Testing
- Plan and execute unit testing and support integration testing.
- Ensure technical solutions meet defined business and functional requirements.

Integration & APIs
- Develop and support interfaces between SAP and external systems.
- Work with APIs and integration requirements as needed.

Documentation
- Create and maintain technical documentation for SAP developments, interfaces, and solutions.

Mentoring & Technical Guidance
- Guide junior developers and provide technical support to the development team.
- Contribute to technical design and solution discussions where required.
