Sales Manager - Commodity Chemicals (Domestic / International B2B Sales)

Location: Mumbai / Nashik (or as per business requirement)

Reporting To: Business Head - Chemical Division

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Sales Manager Commodity Chemicals to drive business development and sales of a diverse portfolio of industrial commodity chemicals. The candidate should possess strong industry relationships, excellent market knowledge, and a proven track record in B2B sales across manufacturers, distributors, traders, and industrial end users.

Product Portfolio The candidate should have proven sales experience in one or more of the following products:

- Titanium Dioxide (TiO)
- Carbon Black
- Soda Ash
- Citric Acid
- STPP (Sodium Tripolyphosphate)
- Acetic Acid
- Formic Acid
- Paraffin Wax

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Generate current business opportunities and expand the customer base across domestic and international markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, distributors, importers, traders, and industrial customers.
- Identify new market opportunities and monitor industry trends.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order execution and payment follow-up.
- Conduct customer visits, product presentations, and commercial negotiations.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely execution of orders.
- Prepare sales forecasts, market intelligence reports, and competitor analysis.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with customers.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through effective after-sales support.
- Represent the company at industry exhibitions,



conferences, and networking events.

Required Experience

- 512+ years of experience in B2B sales of commodity or industrial chemicals.
- Strong exposure to domestic and/or international chemical markets.

- Existing customer network among

- Chemical manufacturers

- Industrial end users

- Distributors

- Traders

- Importers

- Exporters
- Strong understanding of chemical applications and market dynamics.
- Experience in pricing, negotiations, and contract management.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field.
- MBA in Marketing or International Business will be an added advantage.
