Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) Technical Lead / Architect to lead the technical design and delivery of a large-scale Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) modernization program. The ideal candidate will combine architecture leadership with strong hands-on engineering and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the technical architecture and engineering direction for the SailPoint ISC implementation.
- Lead design and development of SailPoint connectors, integrations, workflows, rules, and identity lifecycle processes.
- Design and improve Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) automation and identity lifecycle management.
- Provide solutions for identity aggregation, reconciliation, provisioning, synchronization failures, automated retry, and exception handling.
- Address role governance and access governance requirements that impact production readiness.
- Architect integrations with enterprise applications, cloud platforms, directories, HR systems, databases, APIs, and file-based systems.
- Develop approaches for audit, compliance reporting, operational monitoring, and production support.
- Identify SailPoint product gaps and design reusable engineering components and accelerators.
- Lead technical reviews, code reviews, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and production-readiness assessments.
- Guide the offshore POD and collaborate closely with onsite architects, security teams, application owners, and client stakeholders.




- Evaluate opportunities for AI-enabled automation and relevant open-source or infrastructure accelerators.

Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC).
- Strong understanding of IGA, identity lifecycle management, access governance, and RBAC.
- Experience with identity profiles, lifecycle states, access profiles, roles, workflows, provisioning, aggregation, and reconciliation.
- Strong experience designing custom connectors and enterprise integrations.
- REST APIs, JSON, OAuth, and up-to-date integration patterns.
- Java and/or BeanShell knowledge relevant to SailPoint engineering.
- Active Directory / LDAP and HR-system integration experience.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex identity synchronization, provisioning, and performance issues.
- Experience leading technical teams in an onsite-offshore delivery model.

Preferred Qualifications
- SailPoint certifications.
- Experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) in addition to ISC.
- AWS or other cloud IAM experience.
- CI/CD and automated deployment practices.
- Experience building reusable IAM frameworks or accelerators.
- Exposure to machine/non-human identity governance.
- Experience stabilizing complex SailPoint programs before production.

Candidate Profile This is a hands-on architect role. Candidates who have primarily performed SailPoint administration or high-level architecture without strong engineering and troubleshooting experience will not be the best fit.
