Role Description The Robotics Supervisor is a full-time, in office role based in Thrissur. This role oversees the planning, setup, and maintenance of robotics and related electrical systems used in educational programs and labs.

The Robotics

Supervisor coordinates daily activities, including organizing practical sessions, guiding students and instructors on safe equipment use, and ensuring all systems operate reliably during classes and workshops.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving technical issues, supervising installation and configuration of hardware,



and collaborating with academic and technical teams to improve lab infrastructure. The role also involves maintaining documentation, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and supporting the design and implementation of new robotics projects and demonstrations.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering, including practical knowledge of Electricity and Power Systems.
- Experience in Electrical Design for robotics labs, training setups, or industrial automation environments.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting electrical and control systems, and resolving issues quickly and safely.
- Understanding of robotics platforms, sensors, controllers, and basic programming concepts is highly beneficial.
- Ability to supervise technical activities, coordinate with educators, and provide clear guidance to students and team members.
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with safety regulations, standards, and best practices for laboratory and workshop environments.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and readiness to work on-site in a collaborative, education-focused setting.
