Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced RMC Engineer to manage and monitor ready-mix concrete production and quality control activities. The candidate will ensure that concrete is produced as per approved mix designs, project specifications, and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor daily RMC production and quality control activities.
- Ensure concrete production complies with approved mix designs, specifications, and applicable standards.
- Monitor batching plant operations and proper proportioning of cement, aggregates, admixtures, and water.
- Check the quality and test certificates of incoming raw materials.
- Conduct and monitor slump tests, temperature checks, cube sampling, and concrete testing .
- Coordinate with laboratories for concrete and raw material testing.
- Monitor trial mixes and production mixes as required.
- Ensure the required concrete grade, workability, and quality are maintained.
- Monitor batching plant and testing equipment calibration .
- Coordinate with site engineers regarding concrete grade, quantity, pouring schedule, and delivery requirements.
- Check delivery challans, batch reports, cube records, and test reports .
- Monitor concrete dispatch and delivery time to the project site.
- Review 7-day and 28-day concrete cube test results and maintain quality records.
- Identify concrete quality issues and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Raise and close NCRs related to concrete quality where required.




- Maintain records of raw materials, concrete production, testing, calibration, and quality reports.
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams, site engineers, consultants, laboratory staff, and plant operators .
- Ensure compliance with relevant IS/BS/ASTM/ACI standards and project specifications.
- Prepare daily and monthly RMC production and quality reports .

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 4–7 years of experience in RMC, concrete quality control, or civil construction.
- Positive knowledge of RMC production, concrete testing, and quality control .
- Practical knowledge of slump testing, cube testing, concrete sampling, and curing.
- Good understanding of concrete mix designs and grades .
- Knowledge of relevant construction and concrete standards.
- Experience in handling NCRs, test reports, and quality documentation .
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and Word .

Preferred Skills

- Experience in RMC batching plant operations .
- Knowledge of IS 456, IS 4926, and IS 10262 .
- Knowledge of concrete mix design and optimization.
- Experience with high-strength or specialized concrete will be an advantage.
- QA/QC or concrete-related certification will be an advantage.
