Position: Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) – Social Science

Position Overview The TGT – Social Science will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging and student-centred instruction in accordance with the CBSE curriculum and school academic policies. The teacher will foster critical thinking, conceptual understanding, civic awareness and a positive learning environment while supporting students’ academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver effective lessons in History, Geography, Political Science/Civics and Economics, as applicable to the assigned classes.
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with CBSE learning outcomes and competencies.
- Employ innovative, activity-based and technology-integrated teaching methodologies.
- Conduct formative and summative assessments, assignments, projects and examinations.
- Monitor, document and evaluate students’ academic progress and provide timely feedback.
- Prepare students effectively for CBSE Board and school-level assessments.
- Encourage analytical thinking, research, discussion, debate and application of concepts to real-world situations.
- Maintain a well-managed, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
- Provide appropriate academic support and enrichment activities based on individual student needs.
- Maintain accurate academic records, lesson plans,



assessment records and other required documentation.
- Communicate professionally with parents regarding students’ academic performance and overall progress.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, staff development programmes, school events and co-curricular activities.
- Contribute to curriculum planning, development of teaching resources and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to the school’s policies, professional standards and applicable CBSE guidelines.

Educational Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in a relevant Social Science discipline such as History, Geography, Political Science, Economics or related subjects.

Experience 1–3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE/ICSE or reputed school is preferred. Freshers with strong academic credentials and teaching aptitude may also be considered.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
