Reporting to the Area Superintendent, and with the leadership and direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Student Services and Wellness and the Divisional Wellness Coordinator, the Mental Wellness Worker will work as a member a multi-disciplinary team within the Student Services and Wellness Department of Frontier School Division. This role will work closely with students, school support teams, families and external partners to support the needs of through the provision of direct clinical services, consultation and qualified and public education.
What You'll Do
Provide individual case work, group work, family supports and/or consultation depending on the individual student or school to foster student mental health and wellness from a holistic lens.
Act as link between the student, school support team, external agencies and families.
Plan,
support and program for students from a proactive, student-centred and strength-based lens.
Assist school teams with crisis response supports and resources while closely collaborating with local community and Divisional resources.
