About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled professional to join Uppteam as a Design and Construction Drawings Quality Control Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and coordination of architectural and consultant drawings. Your expertise will help maintain the highest standards of quality and ensure that all design documents align with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of construction documentation, interdisciplinary coordination, and quality assurance processes, contributing significantly to the successful execution of our projects.

Qualifications

- A degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in reviewing construction drawings, quality control, and interdisciplinary coordination within the architecture, engineering, or construction sectors.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and review software such as AutoCAD, Revit, BIM tools, and other relevant applications.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of construction standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements applicable to various project types.

Responsibilities

- Thoroughly review architectural, structural, MEPF,



and other engineering drawings to verify design integrity, accuracy, and completeness.
- Identify and rectify missed elements, inconsistencies, or discrepancies within the drawings, ensuring alignment with project standards and client requirements.
- Utilize comprehensive QC checklists to systematically verify that all necessary design components are included and meet quality standards.
- Coordinate among different disciplines, including architectural, structural, and MEPF teams, to ensure seamless integration and clash-free designs.
- Employ overlay techniques and Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools for effective clash detection, conflict resolution, and coordination among disciplines.
- Maintain detailed documentation of review findings, revisions, and quality control reports for project records and audits.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and engineers to communicate issues and facilitate timely resolution.
- Stay updated with the latest industry standards, construction codes, and best practices to continually improve review processes.
