Urgently required for the post of QC Engineer

Experience : 5+ years

Location: Ambernath

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspection of castings and machined components.
- Inspect castings for dimensional accuracy, surface defects, and quality as per drawings and specifications.
- Monitor machining operations and ensure compliance with drawing dimensions, tolerances, and quality requirements.
- Carry out final inspection and prepare inspection reports.
- Identify and handle quality deviations, rejections, and non-conformities.
- Coordinate with production and suppliers to resolve quality issues.
- Maintain inspection records, quality documents, and calibration records.
- Perform NDT activities as per applicable procedures and standards.

Required Technical Skills
- NDT Level II certification – Mandatory.
- Good knowledge of casting processes, casting defects, and casting inspection.
- Robust knowledge of machining processes and inspection methods.
- Practical experience in incoming, in-process, and final inspection.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings,



GD&T;, tolerances, and machining symbols.
- Hands-on knowledge of all commonly used precision measuring instruments, including:
- Vernier Caliper
- Outside / Inside Micrometer
- Bore Gauge
- Height Gauge
- Dial Gauge / DTI
- Depth Gauge
- Bevel Protractor
- Slip Gauge
- Thread Gauges
- Radius Gauges
- Feeler Gauge
- Surface Roughness Tester
- Other precision inspection instruments
- Knowledge of CMM will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of inspection standards, QAP, ITP, and preparation of inspection reports.

Qualification & Experience
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Relevant experience in casting and machining quality inspection.
- Valid NDT Level II certification in relevant methods such as UT, DPT, MPT, or RT.
- Good communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
