We are seeking a detail-oriented QA/Test Engineer - UI/UX with strong expertise in Playwright, API Testing, SQL, and UI/UX Validation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, usability, performance, and reliability of web applications through comprehensive manual and automated testing practices.

This role requires a combination of functional testing, UI automation, API validation, database verification, and UX-focused quality assessments to deliver exceptional digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

UI & Functional Testing

- Perform end-to-end testing of web applications across multiple browsers and devices.
- Validate UI functionality, user workflows, and business requirements.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects through resolution.
- Execute regression, smoke, integration, system, and exploratory testing.

UI Automation Testing
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright.
- Create reusable automated test scripts for UI validation.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Improve test coverage and reduce manual testing efforts.

API Testing
- Validate backend services and APIs for functionality, reliability, and security.
- Develop and execute API test cases using tools such as Postman or Playwright API testing.
- Verify API contracts, request/response payloads, error handling, and integrations.
- Perform data validation across API and UI layers.

Database Testing
- Write and execute SQL queries to validate application data.
- Perform data integrity, reconciliation, and backend validation testing.
- Verify database updates, stored procedures, and business rules.




- Troubleshoot data-related issues and assist in root cause analysis.

UI/UX Quality Assurance
- Review applications for usability, accessibility, responsiveness, and consistency.
- Validate adherence to UI/UX design specifications and design systems.
- Identify user experience issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure responsive design compatibility across browsers, operating systems, and devices.

Quality Process & Collaboration
- Participate in requirement reviews and test planning activities.
- Prepare test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test reports.
- Collaborate with Developers, Product Managers, Designers, and Business Analysts.
- Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives.

Required Skills

Testing & Automation
- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright Automation Testing.
- Experience creating and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Expertise in functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

API Testing
- Strong understanding of REST APIs.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, or Playwright.
- Knowledge of API authentication mechanisms and response validation.

Database Testing




- Strong SQL query-writing and debugging skills.
- Experience validating backend data and database transactions.
- Understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.

UI/UX Testing
- Experience validating responsive web applications.
- Strong understanding of usability and user experience principles.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Ability to identify UI inconsistencies and design implementation issues.
