Manual QA Engineer (Web Applications)

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and quality-focused Manual QA Engineer with 2-4 years of hands-on experience in testing web applications and websites. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects to ensure high-quality releases.

You will work closely with developers, designers, and project managers to validate functionality, usability, responsiveness, and overall user experience across multiple client websites. This position follows a 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM schedule, supporting international clients and collaborating with global teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Review project requirements, wireframes, and functional specifications before testing.
- Create and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform manual functional, regression, smoke, sanity, exploratory, and usability testing.
- Test websites across multiple browsers, devices, and screen sizes.
- Verify responsive design and ensure consistent user experience.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and report bugs with clear reproduction steps.
- Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing before deployment.
- Test forms, navigation, user flows, contact forms, and interactive website features.
- Verify website content, layouts, images, links, and overall functionality.
- Ensure websites meet quality, usability, and performance standards before launch.
- Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and project managers to resolve issues efficiently.
- Maintain testing documentation and provide QA reports for completed projects.
- Use AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or similar platforms to improve test documentation, bug reporting,



and productivity while maintaining thorough manual testing standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in Manual Software Testing.
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Experience testing websites and web applications.
- Strong knowledge of functional, regression, smoke, sanity, exploratory, and usability testing.
- Experience using bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Trello, or similar platforms.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and browser developer tools for inspection and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Google Chrome DevTools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications Candidates with any of the following will have an added advantage:
- Experience testing WordPress websites.
- Familiarity with website CMS platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, or Webflow.
- Experience working in a digital agency environment.
- Basic knowledge of SEO best practices to validate on-page implementation.
- Familiarity with accessibility and responsive design principles.
- ISTQB Certification is a plus.

Pay: Up to ₹600,000.00 per year
