Role Description This is a remote contract role for a Python/PyTorch Developer. The developer will design, build, and maintain backend services and machine learning models using Python and PyTorch as well as work on a recommendation system for social media application data.

Day-to-day tasks include implementing scalable APIs, integrating databases, optimizing model performance, and writing clean, testable code that aligns with Floter AI LTD’s architectural standards. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, participating in code reviews, and contributing to system design and technical documentation. We want developers comfortable embedding AI into their workflows but not be entirely reliant on it.

The developer is expected to work independently,



manage timelines, and ensure high-quality deliverables in a distributed environment. We need someone who can provide suitable high quality documentation that is easy to understand and actually justifies their implementation and thinking across development.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Programming skills, with advanced proficiency in Python and experience with PyTorch.
- Candidates should possess solid Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Software Development skills, including writing modular, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Candidates should possess Back-End Web Development skills, including experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and serverless or cloud-based architectures.
- Candidates should possess Databases skills, including designing schemas and working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with machine learning model deployment, performance optimization, and MLOps tools is beneficial.
- Familiarity with modern development workflows (version control, CI/CD, code review practices) is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience/projects.
- Strong analytical thinking, clear communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, cross-cultural team.
