The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and fostering a relationship with our suppliers and vendors. You will also oversee the implementation of the supply and production strategies.

Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end purchase and procurement of PEB, fabrication, construction, and site-related materials.
- Procure structural welding consumables, paints, hardware, tools, spares, and other materials.
- Coordinate with Production, Project, Design, Stores, Quality, and Site teams for material requirements and timely procurement.
- Develop and manage vendors/suppliers, obtain quotations, compare rates, and negotiate the best price and commercial terms.
- Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery as per project and production requirements.
- Monitor material quality, delivery schedules, stock levels, and supplier performance.




- Control costs and identify opportunities for cost savings and better vendor terms.
- Handle supplier issues related to delays, quality, shortages, documentation, and payments, ensuring smooth procurement operations.

Qualifications

- 5–10 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement, preferably in PEB, structural steel fabrication, or construction.
- Good knowledge of PEB materials, fabrication requirements, and construction materials.

- Robust vendor management, negotiation, communication, and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/Purchase Management Systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and urgent procurement requirements.
