We're Hiring: Purchase Executive – Fire Fighting Industry

Vaidyanath Fire Services Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Purchase Executive to manage procurement for our fire fighting and fire protection projects. About the Role

We're looking for a Purchase Executive / Purchase Engineer who can independently handle end-to-end procurement for fire fighting and fire protection projects — from vendor identification to final delivery coordination. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on solving material sourcing challenges and keeping projects moving on time and on budget.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors for fire fighting and MEP materials
- Source materials as per project BOQs and site requirements
- Prepare RFQs, obtain quotations, and carry out detailed comparative analysis
- Negotiate pricing, credit terms, delivery schedules, and quality commitments
- Prepare and issue purchase orders in line with approved budgets
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Plan material requirements based on project timelines and site demands
- Work closely with Site, Project, Stores, Accounts, and Management teams
- Maintain accurate purchase records, vendor databases, and rate comparisons
- Follow up on pending orders, part deliveries, and shortages




- Verify materials against approved specifications and technical requirements
- Support cost control initiatives while maintaining procurement quality

What You Should Bring

- 3–5 years of experience in purchase/procurement, with fire fighting or fire protection industry experience strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of fire fighting pipes & fittings, valves, fire pumps & accessories, sprinkler systems, hydrant systems, and fire alarm/detection materials
- Familiarity with GI/MS/HDPE/CPVC piping and general MEP/construction materials
- Strong vendor negotiation and relationship management skills
- Good coordination skills to work across site, project, and accounts teams
- Proficiency in MS Excel and purchase/ERP tools
