About the Role

We are looking for a confident, well-presented, and communication-oriented Public Relations Officer (P.R.O.) to represent the school and strengthen its relationship with parents, students, staff, media, and the wider community.

The P.R.O. will be responsible for promoting the school’s image, communicating its achievements and activities, managing parent communication, and supporting admissions and school events.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as the primary point of contact for parents and visitors regarding school-related information.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, students, staff, media, and the local community.
- Promote the school’s vision, values, achievements, academic results, and extracurricular activities.
- Support the school’s admission and outreach activities.
- Coordinate school events, seminars, workshops, exhibitions, celebrations, and other public-facing programs.
- Prepare and coordinate press releases, school announcements, newsletters, brochures, and promotional content.
- Manage communication through social media and other appropriate digital platforms.




- Coordinate with local media for coverage of important school events and achievements.
- Handle parent queries professionally and ensure timely communication with the concerned departments.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Management, or a related field preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English .
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Confident personality with professional presentation and etiquette.
- Valuable knowledge of social media platforms and basic digital marketing.
- Ability to write press releases, announcements, captions, and promotional content.
- Good networking and event-management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace.
- Ability to work independently as well as coordinate with teachers, administrators, parents, and management.
- Candidates with experience in a school, educational institution, media, PR agency, or corporate communications will be preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
