The Opportunity

We are hiring a PTE & IELTS Trainer to own outcomes for a portfolio of candidates preparing for two of the world's most widely accepted English proficiency exams. This is a high ownership role for someone who treats every candidates's score like it is the only thing that matters.

What You Will Own

- Deliver best-in-class classroom and online instruction across PTE and IELTS (Academic & General), covering all four modules: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking
- Design structured, data informed lesson plans and continuously iterate based on student performance
- Run mock tests, score them rigorously, and deliver feedback that moves the needle,



not generic notes
- Own each candidate's score trajectory: track progress, diagnose gaps, and adjust strategy until the target score is hit
- Stay ahead of evolving exam patterns, scoring algorithms, and AI-based assessment nuances (especially for PTE)
- Coach students on time management, test day strategy, and the small edges that separate a good score from a excellent one
- Advise students on exam selection (PTE vs. IELTS) aligned to their goals, where relevant
- Maintain meticulous records of attendance, performance, and progress

What We are Looking For

- Bachelor's degree required; Master's in English, Linguistics, or Education preferred
- Proven experience training students for PTE and/or IELTS, certification strongly preferred (Pearson PTE Trainer Certification, recognized IELTS trainer certification)
- Exceptional spoken and written English
- Deep command of both exam formats, scoring rubrics, and what actually drives score improvement
- A teaching style that is patient, high-energy, and adaptable across mixed-proficiency batches
- Comfort with digital tools and computer-based testing environments
