Thomas Clery is a construction and project management practice with decades of experience in delivering architecturally driven projects across South India.

We work closely with architects, consultants, craftsmen, contractors and specialist vendors to execute projects where design intent, detailing, material quality and site discipline are given the same importance as programme, cost and timely delivery.

The Project

We are currently assembling a strong project team for an ambitious 20,000+ sq. ft. designer resto-café in the heart of Bengaluru.

This is a highly detailed, design-intensive hospitality project involving natural materials, bespoke elements, craftsmanship and multiple specialist agencies, all coming together within a demanding execution programme.

The Opportunity

We are looking for Project Managers who understand architecture and execution equally well.

The role goes beyond conventional site management. You should be able to understand the architect’s intent, study drawings and details, coordinate consultants and contractors, anticipate site challenges and ensure that the final execution does not lose the character of the design.

At the same time, you must be capable of driving the project through a disciplined programme with clear timelines, responsibilities and deliverables.

What the Role Demands

- Solid understanding of architectural drawings, working drawings and construction details
- Ability to translate design intent accurately on site
- Preparation and monitoring of project schedules and Gantt charts
- Weekly and monthly planning, including look-ahead schedules
- Tracking milestones, dependencies and critical activities
- Coordination between architects, structural consultants, MEP teams, contractors and vendors
- Civil, interiors, MEP, joinery, fabrication, lighting and specialist-work coordination




- Material planning and procurement follow-up
- Vendor and subcontractor management
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality control
- Special attention to natural materials, finishes and bespoke detailing
- Site documentation, RFIs, approvals, progress reports and action trackers
- Conducting structured coordination meetings and ensuring closure of pending items
- Identifying bottlenecks before they affect the programme
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability on site

Who Will Thrive Here

We are looking for someone who enjoys being deeply involved in a project.

Someone who will ask why a detail has been designed a certain way, notice discrepancies before they become problems, understand the relationship between different trades and take responsibility for moving the project forward.

You must be organised and technically strong, but equally important, you must be a team player.

This project will require close collaboration with architects, consultants, contractors, craftsmen and vendors. Strong communication, ownership and respect for the design process are essential.

Candidates with experience in premium hospitality, restaurants, luxury interiors or highly detailed architectural projects will be particularly suited to this role.
