Role Overview: The Supply Chain Manager (Personal Care) will own the end-to-end operational execution of the manufacturing value chain—moving seamlessly from Current Product Development (NPD) implementation to sustained market availability. This role is responsible for ensuring that Raw Materials (RM), Packaging Materials (PM), and Finished Goods (FG) are delivered On-Time In-Full (OTIF) while strictly managing the Cost of Conversion (COC), inventory health, AQL & defect free products and Third-Party (3P) manufacturing performance or current products as well as existing products.
Reports To: Operations Head - Demand & Fulfilment
Key Stakeholders: NPD, Planning, Procurement, Quality, and 3P Manufacturers
Category Focus: Personal Care (Face wash, Body wash, Creams, Gels, etc.)
Partner closely with the NPD team to transition formulations and packaging concepts from lab-scale to commercial 3P manufacturing lines.
Own the supply chain readiness timeline for all recent launches, ensuring RM/PM pipelines are primed to meet first-production deadlines without market entry delays.
Closure of costing – P2P / COC to deliver desired margins.
Coordinate trial runs at 3P sites with Quality and Production teams to establish baseline production standards.
Ensure 100% availability of RM, PM, and FG across the network to satisfy fluctuating demand signals.
