Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Manager – Solar role based in Vizag.

The Project

Manager will oversee end-to-end solar project execution, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination of rooftop and ground-mounted installations for commercial and industrial clients. The role involves managing site activities, supervising contractors, monitoring quality and safety, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards and regulatory requirements.

Manager will track project progress, expedite critical activities and materials, coordinate inspections, and work closely with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of equipment.



The role also includes stakeholder communication, reporting on project milestones, risk mitigation, and supporting continuous improvement in project delivery and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, stakeholder coordination, and risk management.
- Candidates should possess Expeditor and Expediting skills to drive timely procurement, delivery, and resolution of delays in project-related materials and services.
- Candidates should possess Inspection skills to oversee site quality checks, verify installation standards, and ensure adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.
- Candidates should possess Logistics Management skills to coordinate material movement, equipment deliveries, and vendor interactions for on-time project execution.
- Relevant experience in solar EPC or renewable energy projects, particularly rooftop and ground-mounted systems, is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, or related field) or an equivalent technical qualification is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site, manage field teams, interpret technical drawings, and use project management tools effectively.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability.
- Experience in solar industry is must and should have ground mounted experience for 4-5 years
