Job Opportunity – Program Manager | Core Banking /n Position: Program Manager – Core Banking / Banking Technology /n Experience: 15–22 Years /n Location: Mumbai /n Employment Type: Full-Time /n Domain: Banking / BFSI / Core Banking /n Notice Period: Immediate to 15 Days Serving candidate /n Job Summary /n We are looking for an experienced Program Manager / Senior Project Manager with strong experience in the Core Banking domain and a solid technical foundation in Java/J2EE. /n The ideal candidate should have started their career in Java/J2EE application development, technical leadership, or software engineering and subsequently moved into Project/Program Management or Delivery Management. /n The candidate will be responsible for managing large-scale banking technology programs, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, risks, dependencies, budgets and ensuring successful end-to-end delivery. /n Key Responsibilities /n /n

- Lead and manage end-to-end Core Banking technology programs from initiation through implementation and production rollout.

/n

- Manage project planning, scope, timelines, milestones, resources and budgets.

/n

- Work closely with business, technology, architecture, product and vendor teams.

/n

- Drive Core Banking transformation / implementation / modernization initiatives.

/n

- Manage project governance, steering committee meetings, status reporting and executive communication.

/n

- Track RAID – Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies and drive mitigation plans.

/n

- Coordinate multiple technology teams working on Java/J2EE, APIs, microservices, databases and integration platforms.

/n

- Understand technical architecture and provide effective coordination between business and engineering teams.

/n

- Manage application development, integration, testing, UAT, deployment and Go-Live activities.

/n





- Coordinate with banking stakeholders across areas such as Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Loans, CASA, Payments and Digital Banking.

/n

- Manage vendors and third-party technology partners.

/n

- Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality, delivery standards and governance processes.

/n

- Identify delivery risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.

/n

- Manage Agile/Scrum ceremonies and ensure effective execution across teams.

/n

- Provide regular project/program updates to senior management and clients.

/n /n Mandatory Skills /n /n

- Robust Core Banking / Banking Technology domain experience.

/n

- Strong experience in Program Management / Project Management / Delivery Management.

/n

- Candidates with a Java/J2EE technical background are preferred.

/n

- Experience managing large-scale banking technology projects.

/n

- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and application architecture.

/n

- Experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, Microservices, APIs or similar technologies.

/n

- Experience with stakeholder management and client engagement.

/n

- Strong knowledge of project governance, risk management and delivery management.

/n

- Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies.

/n

- Good understanding of banking applications and integrations.
